Celebrating Shabbat and holidays at MSU Hillel offers a unique opportunity to bring together many members of the community. Each Shabbat, students join together for Reform, Conservative and Orthodox Services and a delicious Shabbat meal. Hillel has celebrations for all holidays during the year, fostering a warm community atmosphere.
Every week, 150 or more students join together at the Hillel for student-led Shabbat services followed by a FREE dinner. Some students choose to come to services and meals; others may attend only services or only to join their friends for a Shabbat meal.
MSU Hillel runs a full program of services and meals for the High Holidays, Passover, and other festivals and holidays. During Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Hillel hosts services plus special holiday meals. To see the High Holiday Schedule and sign up for Holiday meals click here.
