Annual Giving

Hillel is essential to ensuring that Jewish students leave college with a strong sense of Jewish identity and a commitment to the Jewish community. Hillel trains the Jewish leaders of tomorrow and brings positive Jewish experiences to thousands of students each year.

More MSU Jewish students are taking part in Hillel programs than ever before. The Lester J. Morris Hillel Jewish Student Center could not provide the programs and services for Jewish students on MSU’s campus without the generous support of parents, alumni, and community members.

Thank you to all of the individuals who graciously invest in the success of MSU Hillel as the place to be for the more than 3,000 Jewish students on MSU’s campus. In addition to providing services to MSU's Jewish students, Hillel also offers the richness of Jewish cultural, religious, and intellectual heritage to the entire MSU community. Most of our annual operating support comes from outright gifts.

With the commitment and dedication of our friends and donors, MSU Hillel has been able to evoke a renaissance of Jewish life at MSU. We couldn’t do it without you.

It is MSU Hillel’s challenge to enhance Jewish life on campus, and the challenge has never been greater. Your support provides MSU Jewish students the ability to experience a Jewish future filled with pride, promise, and unlimited possibilities.

Please consider investing in the future of the Jewish community by contributing to the Lester J. Morris Hillel Jewish Student Center. For more information on how you can make a difference, please contact Jonathon Koenigsberg at 517-332-1916 or ad@msuhilllel.org.

Inspiring Future Jewish Leaders

The Endowment Campaign for MSU Hillel
To build on the success of MSU Hillel for this and future generations, the Board of Directors has launched Inspiring Future Jewish Leaders: The Endowment Campaign for MSU Hillel. In its first phase, the endowment campaign seeks to raise $1 million. The interest generated from this endowment will support programming and operations at MSU Hillel.

During the 2006-07 school year, Alan Jay and Sue Ellen Kaufman have created the Alan J. and Sue Kaufman Family Challenge Fund. The Kaufmans have generously agreed to match any new endowment gift pledged to the Kaufman Family Leadership Fund.

More information about the Inspiring Future Jewish Leaders Campaign may be found here.

We would welcome the opportunity to speak or visit with you personally. Please contact Jonathon Koenigsberg at ad@msuhillel.org or 517-332-1916.

Opportunities for Support

Annual Campaign
Annual support ensures the annual operation of the Lester J. Morris Hillel Center. Your gift to the MSU Hillel Foundation ensures that Jewish students on the East Lansing campus have the resources to take pride in their Jewish heritage, engaging and empowering them to create a strong and vibrant Jewish campus community. Hillel relies on the generous annual support from people like you to carry out its critical mission of strengthening the Jewish people.

Discover Hillel
Especially for parents and grandparents of students, our Discover Hillel initiative helps provide a strong Jewish experience for your student while they are away from home. The initiative is a great way to ensure that your student is connected with the vibrant Jewish community on campus. For information and an enrollment application, please click here.

Thank you for investing in MSU Hillel. We would not be here without your ongoing commitment!
